St. Louis Batting Cages-Gameday Academy

Welcome to the new Gameday Academy at the St. Louis Sports Center

Come visit our new 20,000 sq/ft facility with wide open turf space and six batting tunnels. Private and groups lessons, as well as individual and team rentals are availavle.

Black Friday Fuzz Ball Tournament

Date – 11/25 start time - noon

Play in Gameday Academy’s first annual Black Friday fuzz ball tournament! All games will take place inside the St. Louis Sports Center’s 20,000 sq. ft. sports training facility.

Tournament Rules and Regulations

· All teams play 3 guaranteed games

· All games are 5 innings, unless the run rule comes into play

· 5 players per team

· 3 outs per inning

· 2 strikes and 5 balls per at bat (a foul ball is a strike)

· Any ball caught or caught on one bounce is considered an out

· If the pitcher fields any batted ball cleanly it is an out

· Gameday will provide game bats and balls, no outside equipment will be permitted.

· No baseball or softball glove may be used during the tournament

· Each participant will receive a tournament t-shirt to be worn the day of the event

The cost of the tournament is $150 per team for non-league teams, and $100 per team for teams participating in the Gameday Academy Fuzz Ball League if registered by 10/15/11. Teams registering after 10/15/11 will be charged $180.

The winning team will receive 2 free pitchers of beer or 1 Gatorade per player

Team Training Packages

Gameday Academy is now booking "Team Training Packages" in order to prepare your youth baseball team for a successful Spring and Summer Season. Each package not only includes a significant amount of time inside our cages and field area, but also 2-3 well-qualified baseball/softball instructors! Cage/Field Rental Packages

Even with inclimate weather in the fall and winter, baseball and softball have become year-round sports in the city of St. Louis. Gameday Academy is the perfect place to train January-December!! We have been booking "Team Rental Packages" and our turf space is almost completely full for the Winter! Do not be left out in the cold, contact us immediately if you want your team to practice in the largest indoor baseball/softball facility in St. Louis!! Hitting, Pitching, and Fielding Lessons

The fall baseball and softball season is just about to end, and the off-season is right around the corner! If your son or daughter's batting average wasn't as high as they wanted it to be, their ERA wasn't nearly as low as they expected, or they kept making the same fielding errors, give one of Gameday's professional instructors a try! Numerous players, baseball and softball alike, have seen significant improvements after working with Gameday's excellent staff!!
